Saturday 5th October 2024

Half dozen or more members met at the entrance to Wisley at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning before setting off to find good places to sketch or paint. It was agreed that everyone would meet back at the café at 12.30 p.m. to share artwork and have a bite of lunch.

It was the perfect day for visiting the Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley as the sun shone and the weather was wonderfully mild for an October Saturday.

From oils and acrylics to pen & ink and watercolour there was a variety of work produced. It had been a productive morning and some people stayed on after lunch to do a few more sketches and paintings.
