Exhibitions 2017

Our exhibition year started at the Surrey Heath Show 2017 in Frimley Lodge Park.

56th Annual Exhibition
High Cross Church, Knoll Road, Camberley

There was a ticket-only evening reception on Thursday 13th July 2017
at which the exhibition was officially opened by the
Mayor of Surrey Heath, Councillor Valerie White
and award winners announced.

The exhibition, with some 200 paintings, was open to the public
from 9:30 to 5:00, Friday 14th and Saturday 15th July 2017.

This is always an excellent opportunity for people
to find out about the benefits of membership, to see what FCSA members do
and to enjoy viewing and, we hope, buying original works of art at reasonable prices.
Competitions (other photos below)
Prizes are sponsored to encourage particular types of work or in memory of past members.

Members are sometimes given the opportunity to compete by submitting paintings with a particular theme. For 2017 the optional competition theme was "Pride and Prejudice".

Thanks go to our Judge for taking on the very difficult task of choosing the winners for four of the awards,
Jean Bath, Head of Art at Hawley Place School
Committee Prize
donated by
Peter Tuitt.
