|Our exhibition year starts with a display at the
Surrey Heath Show 2016 at
Frimley Lodge Park on Saturday 30 April
We have a selling stand in the Marquee where members can exhibit and sell.
To make the FCSA stand a success we will require about 40 paintings for exhibition.
Members are invited to submit up to three paintings per person,
framed and presented as per our Annual Exhibition standard.
Each painting must be labelled on the back with the artist's name and the price of the work.
Small paintings, local scenes and paintings of pets, especially dogs,
are likely to appeal to the Surrey Heath Show crowds.
There is no hanging fee for this exhibition. Sales will be subject to a commission of 20% of the sale price. Please would members let John Stacey (01276 24627) know, as soon as possible, and
by Friday 15th April 2015 at the very latest, how many paintings they wish to exhibit.
Members should deliver their paintings either to the Show Ground on Saturday 30th April or, by arrangement with John Stacey, to the Studio on Friday 29th April.
Details of delivery arrangements for the Show will be provided as soon as the Pitch number is known.
For presentation purposes we will require about 20 sketching easels.
Will members willing to lend easels please contact John Stacey as soon as possible.
Please mark easels clearly with your name.
There will be a card selling stand this year for cards made from members' paintings.
Any member wishing to sell cards please contact Carole Head (01276 681889).
Cards should be packaged in cellophane, clearly priced and marked with the member's name.
Sales of cards will be subject to 10% commission.
We will also need volunteers to help on the day,
either from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. or from 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Will any member who is willing to help please contact either John Stacey or Carole Head
as soon as possible.
