2006 Exhibitions

The 2006 Annual Exhibition was held in High Cross Church, Knoll Road, Camberley.

The Private View on Thursday 14 September was opened by Keith Bush, Mayor of Surrey Heath, and the Exhibition was open to the public from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, 15 and 16 September

Members were invited to exhibit original drawings, paintings, sculptures and pottery.

Several prizes are sponsored, generally either to encourage particular types of work or in memory of past members.

This year The Winsland Award of £100 for the "best in exhibition" was judged by Alan Kluckow the proprietor of the Alan Kluckow Fine Art gallery in Sunningdale. As a judge he brought to our exhibition his personal art expertise, as an art student, portrait painter and landscape artist, on three continents (South Africa and the United States, and subsequently as head art consultant with Bonham-Kluckow in London). He awarded it to Marie Sudwell for her painting "Crop Circles" Marie Sudwell "Crop Circles"

Camberley cre8, a local arts & crafts club also sponsored a prize for a more unconventional work. This was won by Sera Knight for her multi-media collage "News is an Ass" News is an Ass
